Spring has Sprung in NYC

March 1st- April 7th 2012
Only a few days left to see the Macy's Flower Show at Herald Square! It's a tradition that became especially impressive when specialty gardens were built, including exotic plants and flowers from around the world. The current show features an incredible garden containing over 30,000 types of flowers and plants, and it's free! In addition to the gardens, Macy's has other exciting events during the Flower Show such as cooking demonstrations, prize giveaways, contests, announcments, promotions, celebrity appearances and more.
Whether you're a couple looking for something romantic, a family looking for something interesting, or an individual who loves nature, this event is perfect. It even offers a free guided tour for those intersted in learning more about the specifcs of the plants featured and the structure of the show.
To many guests, one of the most fun aspects of the show are the creative themes Macy's uses to make each department enchanted. Every year is full of surprises, but one popular past theme was a princess garden in the young girls clothing section, they must have loved it. This years theme is "Brasil: Gardens in Paradise." Get there before week's end to see it!
